Location of Micklefirth

Welcome to Micklefirth

Port of Micklefirth is a light-hearted SNPWG creation. It is an imaginary port somewhere E of Africa. Refer to Impressum for disclaiming information.

The town

Micklefirth (32° 29'6 S 60° 55'9 E) is situated on the coast of Jussland on the E side of Micklefirth Sound and has a population of 213 600 in 2006.

The town lies on the inside of a rocky peninsular which extends S to Lookinghaven Ness. There is very little level ground and the town has spread NW round the coast and onto the steep islands of Scaramsey and Bothrey, which occupy the centre of the head of Micklefirth Sound.

Micklefirth has a thriving multi-purpose port and is a centre of light engineering.
